Digital transformation company, Next Step Digital Solutions (NSDS), is set to showcase an innovative new fintech application, MyPaadna, in commemoration of its sixth anniversary this month.
The user-friendly app is a digital version of the traditional ‘Pawdna’ or ‘Susu’ savings system used in Jamaica and other Caribbean countries.
According to NSDS, MyPaadna is being positioned to help individuals as well as micro and small business owners monitor their shared savings objectives in real time with secure transaction features, instant notifications and group chats.
Mohan Beckford, chief visionary officer (CVO) at NSDS, said the company was forging ahead to optimise digital opportunities for businesses while increasing its growth prospects and continued success.
“We are happy to celebrate this milestone and will continue to steer businesses in the right direction as they [individuals and business owners] navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape,” Beckford said.
The full-service digital agency was founded in 2017 by Beckford, a serial entrepreneur, and has serviced several small and medium-sized businesses in the manufacturing, e-commerce, medical and finance industries.

Since its inception, NSDS has helped entrepreneurs expand their customer bases through results-driven services across the Caribbean and North America.
NSDS’ services encompass website design and hosting, application development, digital marketing and social media management.

Beckford reiterated the company’s commitment to providing quality services and opportunities for small and medium businesses to be part of inclusive digital communities.

The digital solutions company now has a complement of 12 employees, including web developers, social media managers and graphic artists.
MyPaadna will be showcased in Jamaica at NSDS’ exclusive milestone anniversary event at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston on Thursday (February 23), before entering other markets across the Caribbean.
