ClearBook is a bookkeeping and compliance platform designed around Jamaican statutory requirements, built because imported accounting software assumes a tax and reporting regime that does not match the one our clients file under.
Most small businesses here run their books in a spreadsheet, or in a foreign package that assumes a different tax year, different statutory deductions and different filing obligations. The result is a set of records that satisfies nobody: not the owner trying to understand the business, not the accountant at year end, and not the authority asking for a return.
ClearBook is being built the other way around, starting from what a Jamaican MSME actually has to produce and working back to the software.
Raise, send and track invoices with numbering that holds up under audit.
Aged receivables across five buckets, sorted by the exposure that matters most.
Point-in-time statements saved as issued, delivered by email with a secure link.
A four-stage reminder ladder from gentle through to pre-collections, configurable and always previewed before anything is sent.
Separate books per entity with strict data isolation enforced at the database layer.
Designed around Jamaican statutory requirements rather than adapted from a foreign template.
ClearBook has been built and reviewed through successive internal releases and is not yet generally available. We are working with a small number of businesses ahead of a wider release. Register interest and we will contact you when the programme opens.
Not yet. It is in active development and being tested with a small number of businesses. You can register interest and we will tell you when the early-access programme opens.
No. It gives your accountant clean, consistent records to work from, which usually reduces what year end costs you and how much of it is spent reconstructing history.
Yes. Export is a design requirement, not a feature request. Your records remain yours.
